Media Literacy for Athletes

A programme for athletes on managing social media responsibly, handling press attention, protecting their reputation, and presenting themselves professionally in public contexts. Designed for academies, clubs, and national youth programmes.

Young athletes face media scrutiny before they have any training to handle it. A poorly judged social media post, an ill-prepared interview, a comment made without thinking — any of these can cause lasting damage to a career still being built. This programme gives athletes the foundations they need: how to think about their public presence, how to handle journalists, and how to use social media as a tool rather than a liability.

This programme is for sports organisations that want to protect their athletes — and their own reputation — before problems arise.
